Great applet. I must have it on every Mac. I would like to request that you make the arrows, to flip through the months, a little easier to click; they’re TINY. Thanks for a great app!

Really enjoy this little app for easy access to a monthly calendar where it’s easy to look at past or future months. I hope you will also bring it back as a Widget in the latest versions of MacOS. Thank you!
omg why r people being so mean with their one star reviews. grow up and get a life!!! 💗💗
Never understood how something like this never became part of the Mac OS. All i pictured was a small dropdown calendar on Toolbar - but the mini calendar on the desktop is even BETTER! A good Utility keeps you focused on your work - not the tool itself. Mini Calendar is that Good/ Great App / Tool - should be a "Standard" Download for every Mac User.
Love the simplicity! it's the perfect size too
Have been using this app from my hackingtosh days to now M3, and I cannot fault the app. It just gets the calendar job done
The mini calendar is perfect.
I wanted an on-desktop widget that would show me the month and this app does what I want. Great app!
Does exactly what it claims. For me, it is a replacement for built in Menu Bar date with instantly available calendar
Perfect size on my Mac Mini Menu Bar. The app is the exact Calendar I needed for a quick monthly peek which loads fast.
but too mini
Great addition. No complaints. I would love to be able to move it to any specific spot on my desktop. Also, adding the next month as an option would put you a step above the rest (i.e., "Mini Calendar - Next Month" (hint). Keep the exact current format including next months dates, and add in the next month with it's own border. There would be some duplication, yes, but I really like the original "Mini Calendar" as is.
The Mac calendar app should include desktop visibility like this as an option, but it doesn't. This minimalist app is perfect for my needs. It is visible without being intrusive. I'm very happy with it. Well done!
just what i needed. thank you
Wish we could get a transparent dark mode for teh dock and that I didnt have to click for the small pop up but instead just hover showed the mini calendar in dock. Please consider.
One thing that I have learned on to do oin the app store is to download & test at least 4 to 6 app's / widget's, to see which One, or Two is/are a "Winner, winner ... Chicken Dinner" option ... ◉ mini Calender - is just Smooth, Render's & Plays well, and, offer's upgraded option's that my old widget clock / calender didn't have. Just get it ... and stop wasting Time (pun intended).
Ditto to what another reviewer said - just install this. Great little calendar. You put it right where you need it - then forget it. It's right there for quick date references. One thing I did after I "Just put it right where you need it and forget it," was later on play with the options. There are some cool other ways to use this per the author's description. Check them out for some fun sometime. :) ******* Feature Request - when you use the calendar on the Desktop, the buttons to advance through other months are not available. I wish they were - it would be super handy!!! :)
It does exactlyt the thing that I want and is unobtrusive while it does it! That's pretty much all I can ask for. It could be a little bigger (or have the abilitiy to be resized) but it's nice being able to see my calendar in a moment regardless.
It’s hard to find free apps that do what you want and nothing else. This is a small calendar that you can bring up with a keyboard shortcut with no ads or other gotchas!
Crazy that apple STILL doesn't have something like this built into the OS. I often need to pull up a quick popup calendar in one click, similar (sort of) to the way it works in Windows. The calendar doesn't need to be editable - I usually just want to reference it to make sure I've got a future day/date right. Well done, simple app.
This app is very easy to use and offers a great simple little calendar that can be kept on your top menu bar, or your desktop. As a student this simple little calendar is very helpful and I love it and definentely reccomend it! :))
This app should be a native component of the macOS. Enough said.
Said Goldilocks! Everything I need and want and nothing I don't! Thanks Mykola!
It's a decent, minimalistic calender that takes up literally no space on my desktop. The only issue is when it's in "transperent" mode it can be hard to move it.
I have been mucking about with Busycal, Fantastical, and Shortcuts for years looking for exactly this. I just wanted to use a hotkey to reveal a month calendar in the menu bar, and this delivers. Thanks!
Definatelly a great one that give a nice touch to the desktop!
I have disabled mac's default calendar and date/time and have been using this as my main calendar app.
I really missed not having Dashboard on my Mac, so when I discovered that I could just use this calendar app in the dock, I was elated. It has been everything I could have wanted. Excellent!

this app is great when you need to quick see the calender for dates but not your actual calender. its simple and effective and best of yet FREE
My needs were minimal. I just wanted something which was a widget which sits on my desktop so I can see dates when I'm having business video calls, etc. You know, when I need to glance for calendaring purposes. This does that and more! Maybe someday I'll explore the "and more" but for now, like I said, "minimal." Achievement Unlocked.
I really like this App, works very well for me and my needs. It would be extra cool if you could click on a date and have the amin calendar open to that date/
Have been using it for more than 2 years. about time to give a review. It's convenient, unintrusive and powerful. Thank you for the developer's genius gift to the world.
I had this app for over a year on my old laptop. Didn't realize that when i got my new laptop that i'd be so dependent on this little popup calendar, of course downlaoded again <3
Just what the doctor ordered. No more, no less.
A perfect little calendar that's lightweight, doesn't have ads or collect any personal data. Just shows a quick, nice little calendar. Pefect
Does the job perfectly.
Does all needed in an elegant manner. Great alternative to the Google pop-up calendar alternative.
The best things come in small packages!
I hate the built in date tool for Mac. This app gives allows you to see the date, week, day of week, clock seconds ... all at a quick glance. And you can customize it exactly how you like. Perfect!
i love how minimal yet cute this calender is. I'm able to keep the desktop looking clean and be able to see my dates while hiding my toolbars and its such a nice look.
There are a number of menu bar calendar apps out there and many feature macOS Calendar integration and other features. But sometimes something fills a void for it's simplicity and this app is a perfect example. I just needed a basic menu bar calendar to run in a virtual machine that I don't use with iCloud (and thus doesn't have my calendar sync'd.) Thank you to the developer for making this free. I see it's been around a few years and hope it sticks around.
i want to love this app, however, its difficult for me to love it because IT WONT LET ME MOVE THE CALENDAR. Please what am i doing wrong???
Using a PC at work, I found the built-in popup calendar in Windows so useful (e.g., "what date is next Tuesday," etc.), I was really frustrated there was nothing similar for Macs. Well, this is it!
No entiendo por qué a Apple no se le ha ocurrido hacer algo así antes. Un app indispensable que no puede faltar.
This app was exactly what I was looking for, but the dock calendar constantly hangs up and has to be restarted in order to navigate back and forth between months.
As a Windows User, I missed the ease of clicking on the bottom rigth on the screen for a quick look at the calendar. This App provides that to the Mac and much more. Beutifully executed app that is now a must on all my Mac computers.
I don't usually like on screen widgets but this one is perfect.
I just want a datetime widget to display date and time in a YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss format. Is that so much to ask? Apparently. But at least this is better than the standard MacOS datetime display.
